After working out i feel stiffness in the neck

while i am pushing heavy weights i feel that my neck gets jammed and in middle of the set i have to shake my neck to click it a few times for relief. this even happens all throughout the day. i have to clack it every once in a while to get rid of the stiffness. i have a desk job which requires me to sit in front of a computer for almost 6 hours, but i regularly get breaks. i somehow feel it is because of me pushing heavy. also can you please suggest some exercises for the lower back because due to long sitting hours i at times feel some pain in the lower back. thank you
