Benifits of drinking skimmed milk after workout

What will be the benifits and the results of I drink 500ml of Skimmed or double tonned milk just after workout within 30mins? Will it result in bulk up? My goal is to have lean muscler body

 Hi.

First of all bulking and leaning are two different things and it cannot happened simultaneously.Post workout there is 45 min of anabolic window and at that time we require some fast absorbing protein and if you consume milk it becomes slow digesting as milk also contains casein. casein is well known forit's anti catabolic abilities and is best to consume before bedtime.Casein has the ability to provide your bloodstream with a slow and steady flow of amino acids that could last for hours.That is the only reason whey protein are consider over skimmed milk or double toned milk post work out.
