How many sets and reps should i do of each exercise?

It's just so confusing. How does one know how many reps should one do. I mean, is there any standard for it or it depends on an individual.

The rep range indicates what your goal is:

3-5 reps: Strength

6-12 reps: Hypertrophy (muscle building)

12 and above: Muscle endurance

Work in the rep ranges that is most suitable for your goals and try to mix it up a bit everyday to shock the body
