How much protein and what should be the ideal dinner diet?

Hi Sir. First of all i would like to say you have a jaw dropping physique . My question is that how much protein should one consume? I workout in the morning(6am) so i know that carbs should be less at night so that the unprocessed carbs dont get stored as fat. So i want to ask you if this is the ideal dinner : 2 egg whites , Chicken breast cooked with onions and some spices , Boiled dal without any spices and some salad?

Hi Aditya,

Esentially there are two schools of thought. One says 1g of protein per kg of bodyweight and 1g per pound of lean body mass. I personally believe in per pound. Your dinner sounds good except I would take out the dal and put more egg whites.

If i talk about the night time protein the best thing is you should have the CASEIN PROTEIN which gives you proper supply of amino acid for 8 hrs which helps to preserve you muscle and also help in lean gaining.
