How to build muscles with regular workout?

Hi I am working our regularly for last month and lost about 13 Kgs in past 6 months. Currenty my body weight in 63 Kgs and height in 5 feet 7. I am now targeting to build muscles through workout. I am regularly doing cardio (daily) & chest and abodomen exercises (on alternate days). I am also taking whey protein on regular basis but muscle gain is very marginal in these six months Any tips regarding the same would be helpful
