How to reduce belly fat

I have been working out with a trainer religiously for past 8 months that includes crunches/exercises for abs as well, however the belly fat continues to be there. I take care of the diet as well, currently following as advised by healthkart fitness expert. Pls advise.

Workout like crunches and leg raises is for built muscles of your will not gonna help you in fat loss...if you want to do fat loss...,I suggest you to do cardio after weight training
