For gaining weight, diet plays an important role. Along with the gainer, consume a calorie dense diet. You are required to increase your calorie intake by 500 kcal in a day to gain weight, this way you can consume 3500 kcal extra in a week. Consume sweet potato, peanut butter, banana shake, figs, dates, almonds, walnuts, and flaxseed in your diet. Also consume lean chicken, egg whites, and fish as a protein source.
Have at least 50-55% carbs, 15-20% good fats and 30% protein in your diet
