Is consuming white rice inhibits the fat loss!

Rice is said to be a good source of carbs at the sametime it is required in a daily routine to fuel up our body for the good amount of maintaining glucose levels.Does consuming white rice moderately  twice in a day could increase the fat elvels in the body? Or it needs to be avoided or replaced with wheat floor or only protein based foods for the weight loss/fat loss ?
