Is it crucial for a vegetarians to add protein supplements to their diet?

I am regular gym goer and do a lot of weight training too. My instructor keeps advising me to add protein supplements to my diet as I am a vegetarian. Is it necessary?

Protein is a key to every bodybuilding goal, if you can manage to have enough protein required by your body through your vegetarian diet, then it is not necessary.. However it is very difficult to meet your protein requirement with vegetarian diet, thus you can think of including vegetarian protein supplements in your diet, they will not do any harm to your body.
