Muscle building

Hi to all, I have been going to the gym for the last 3 years.I do intense workout . I lift heavy weights but I dont take any supplements n I m a pure vegetarian.    I  take  bananas, dalia and peanut butter in my daily routine apart from a normal food like chapatis, milk ,vegetables . Is it possible to built muscles without having supplements if yes then I request  u to suggest me some diet. I really wann build up my muscles. Look forward for ur reply... Thks a Ton...

Hi Gaurav,

Firstly supplements are not harmful and neither can they cause miracles. If you want to build muscles then protein is necessary. Whether it comes from whey protein or chicken is your choice.

I do appreciate ur reply but I dont wann take any supplement n I m a pure vegetarian.

Is it not possible to build muscles without having these stuff...?

Everything is possible....my story is almost same. After many experiment i learn how to build muscle or gain size. Protein is need of our body so u should take minimum 3 month diet in a year only gainner or protein along with regular food. Not take too much not too dependent.. Take moderate. In desi life style we say khub khao khub thaoo. Everyone suggested protein but carbs is equal valuable nutrients.

I  have read ur profile n I must say it is very motivating to me atleast...

I m also a gym freak person...I dont wann take any kind of supplements n I m a pure vegetarian...Therefore, I REQUEST u to suggest me some vegetarian diet for muscle building like yogurt, cheese etc if it helps ...I m really anxious abt that...

I know carbs are equally imp as proteins are..

U can chat with me over skype or gmail...

There are limited sources of protein in vegetarian diet specialy in Summer. Some important tips... Always keep in mind. 1 sleep at least 8 hrs a day & specifically on right time , I prefer 10pm to 6am... 2 early morning - 15 almonds ( gurbandi) raat bhar bhige hue misri k saat, ache se paste bana kar kundi sote se. Almonds have good source of good fat which is healthy mind of you & provide more power to heavy weight. 3 never skip 3 major meals in a day which is regular roti/ rice / sabji etc. And milk twice in a day. 4 eat chane and soya been in 2:1 quantity ( 1 bowl in mid morning 11 pm) only 3 days and rest 3 days daliya. 5 in workout max rep 10 except trisep take 20/20/10. And eat which is available to you. Kuch ni chodna Sab khana h. We have limited resources.

Pls  suggest me some   good souces of proteins like yogurt, cheese. shall i take these or not ?

My Biscept size is 13 inches I wann increase it so suggest me some good souces of protein except  supplements n non-veg...

Yes you take it ( chess or yogurt).... Okk I appreciate your Passion for fitness.

Top 8 veggies source of protein
Spinach 49%
Kale 45%
Broccoli 45%
Cauliflower 40%
Parsley 34%
Cucumber 24%
Green pepper 22%
Cabbage 22%
And some more like asparagus, peas , sweet corn, sweet potato.

If I compare to non veg item it is more.
Chicken 23%
Eggs 12%

Dude I think u should take protein in moderate quantity like one scoop after workout. Like MuscleBlaze pro 7 or MuscleBlaze protein / pro.
Only two month follow this diet and you have great experience. Protein is made by many source but if u take veg protein then it is made by milk chesse speration process and then filter it by two times and change into powder form. I m not say you take glutomine , creatine , bcaa ,amino ,etc. Only protein.

Performance increase when your protein intake is equal or greater of your weight.

I wud starting taking veggies now onwards...

After my intense workout I wud take cheese or yogurt ...and almonds, soyabean or chane in day time ...

I dont think i wud switch to any kind of supplement ....but still thanks for ur assistance ...
