What are the most effective exercises for upper abdomen and love handles apart from crunches?

Hi

For upper abdomen, you can do planks of all the variations, side planks, ab roller roll out, hanging wind shield wiper.

Do planks- 3 set (30-45 sec), Ab roller- 10 reps each side, hanging wind shield wiper- 10 reps each side.
