Broccoli and Paneer Satay in Red Pepper Sauce\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For The Red Pepper Sauce (makes 1\/2 Cup)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 big red capsicum , roughly chopped and blanched<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp oil<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp cornflour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp dried mixed herbs<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp tabasco sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp low-fat milk (99.7% fat-free)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp tomato ketchup<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp schezwan sauce<\/li>\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 3\/4 tsp oil<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped onions<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)<\/li>\n<li>12 broccoli florets , blanched<\/li>\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>6 pieces low-fat paneer (cottage cheese) , cut into 50 mm. (2\u201d) cubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the red pepper sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blend red capsicum with 1 tsp of water to make a smooth puree<\/li>\n<li>Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add all the remaining ingredients including the red capsicum pur\u00e9e and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Cool slightly and keep aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to proceed<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saute onions and garlic in a non-stick pan with 1 tsp oil\u00a0on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.<\/li>\n<li>Add the broccoli and salt and saut\u00e9 on a medium flame for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cool slightly, combine the broccoli and paneer with \u00bc cup of red pepper sauce in a bowl<\/li>\n<li>Keep them aside to marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Thread a piece of a broccoli and paneer followed by another piece of broccoli on a satay stick, repeat with remaining ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Cook each satay on a non-stick tava (griddle), using oil, till the paneer turns golden brown on all the sides.<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot with the remaining \u00bc cup of red pepper sauce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Try out these healthy under 100 calories snacks this Diwali\u00a0to serve a platter full of good health, taste, and of course festive fervor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We live in a country where festive food is all about calories, calories and calories.
