Remove the excess dough and seal the border using a little milk.<\/li>\n<li>Take a karahi and the heat the oil for 2-3 minutes. Fry at least 3 to 4 raw gujias at a time and fry them until they are golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the gujias in a paper bowl and let them cool.<\/li>\n<li>Store them in an airtight container.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dry_Figs_Nuts_Rolls\"><\/span><strong>Dry Figs &amp; Nuts Rolls<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; height: 250px; width: 375px;\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.healthkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/fig_rolls.jpg&quot;\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dry Figs\/ Anjeer &#8211; 20 pieces<\/li>\n<li>Dates\/Khajoor &#8211; 1 1\/2 Cups<\/li>\n<li>Walnut &#8211; 1\/3 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Almond &#8211; 1\/3 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Cashew nuts- 1\/3 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Nutmeg Powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Desiccate Coconut &#8211; 3\/4 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Sliver Varq &#8211; As required<\/li>\n<li>Water &#8211; 1 Cup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Soak anjeer\/figs in warm water for an hour<\/li>\n<li>Chop the de-seeded dates into small pieces<\/li>\n<li>Finely chop all the dry fruits mentioned in the ingredients and divide each dry fruit into two equal parts.<\/li>\n<li>Grind the soaked figs without using water, add chopped dates and blend to make a smooth paste.<\/li>\n<li>Now mix figs and dates paste with the half portion of each chopped dry fruit to make a soft pitiable dough.<\/li>\n<li>Add coconut to the dough to make it firm and nonsticky.<\/li>\n<li>Divide dough into four pieces and make smooth balls.<\/li>\n<li>Take each roll, keep it between a plastic sheet and roll to make a thin layer.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle chopped dry fruits on the layer and folding the layer to make a roll. You can use the same plastic sheet for rolling as it will prevent the dough from sticking and breaking.<\/li>\n<li>Fold the edges of the layer nicely while keeping it in a plastic sheet and repeat the procedure with remaining balls.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate the wrapped roll for 2 to 4 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Apply silver varq on the roll once its refrigerated and plastic sheet removed.<\/li>\n<li>Use a sharp knife to cut it in the desired shape while being gentle.<\/li>\n<li>Your dry fruit roll is ready to be serve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Oats_Dry_Fruits_Laddoo\"><\/span><strong>Oats &amp; Dry Fruits Laddoo<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; height: 300px; width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.healthkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/oats_ladoo.jpg&quot;\" alt=\"\" \/> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 Cup &#8211; Oats<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 Cup &#8211; Cashew nuts\/Kaju<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 Cup &#8211; Almonds\/Badam<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 Cup &#8211; Pista<\/li>\n<li>10 &#8211; Walnut<\/li>\n<li>12 &#8211; Dates<\/li>\n<li>8 &#8211; Figs<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp &#8211; Sesame Seeds (optional)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp &#8211; <a style=\"color: #25ade3!important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.healthkart.com\/health-food-n-drinks\/breakfast-snacks\/other-snacks?navKey=SCT-hfd-othr-snaks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\">Flax Seeds<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp &#8211; Cardamom Powder (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chop figs and de-seeded dates.<\/li>\n<li>Roast flax seeds until they start popping and let them cool once done.<\/li>\n<li>Use the same flax seed pan to roast oats for 2-3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Roast cashews, walnuts, pista, and almonds as well for a minute<\/li>\n<li>Take roasted flax seeds and oats to grind together into a fine powder<\/li>\n<li>Finely chop all the nuts or grind them coarsely mixing figs, dates and sesame seeds. Do not make a fine powder out of this combination. Keep them coarse to maintain a slight crunch.<\/li>\n<li>Take a kadhai, add oats powder, nuts, figs and dates mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Cook it on slow flame for 3-4 minutes<\/li>\n<li>When the mixture starts to come together add cardamom powder. Mix well again and take off from the flame. Let it cool.<\/li>\n<li>Once it is bearably warm to touch start making small laddoos from the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>If facing difficulty in binding them together add some ghee to it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All these sweets recipes mentioned here can be kept for up to a week when stored in air tight condition.<\/li>\n<li>You can add nuts of your choice like raisins, pecan, etc.<\/li>\n<li>You can adjust the sweetness as per your taste and requirement by increasing\/decreasing the quantity of\u00a0the dates\/figs used.<\/li>\n<li>You can also add jaggery if you want it to be sweeter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hope you will enjoy, first making, then relishing the taste of these no sugar sweets and mix in the joys of festivals without compromising on your weight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every time the fervor of festival starts setting in, the health conscious ones start making a safe distance from all the sweets that add to the taste of festivals.
