When the cumin seeds begin to crackle, add the curry leaves, chopped onions, and green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Cook for 1-2 minutes after adding the ginger-garlic paste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 3-4 minutes on medium heat, covered, until tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 7:<\/strong> Combine the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, sambar powder, garam masala powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
