The movement was launched in 2000 at Singapore and at present 28 countries are a part of the movement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canada, the US, Japan, Australia, Italy, and the UAE are among the countries that celebrate World Kindness Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Significance_of_World_Kindness_Day\"><\/span><strong>Significance of World Kindness Day<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On this day people are encouraged to do small acts of kindness that benefit someone. The kindness activities are not restricted. It can be at home, at the workplace, or even in public. It could be a random act that benefits a stranger as well. The purpose of this day is to remind you that one act of yours can be a step closer to creating a kinder world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This day is also meant to encourage the good deeds of people around you. Do not forget to appreciate their kindness and generosity. A simple\u2019 thank you\u2019 for any kindness you receive can cheer the person. Acts of kindness are mutual as well.
