Job description:

  1. To lead the entire Legal & Secretarial Department
  2. Compliance with Companies Act and the Rules made there under, for all companies and LLPs in the group, with specific emphasis on FDI Compliances
  3. Conducting Board Meetings physically as well as through video conferencing
  4.  Strong exposure in Corporate Legal Compliances, Adherence to the Statutory and regulatory Compliances of India.
  5. Lead and contribute to the development of business processes and policies to better enable achievement of business objectives, mitigate risk, reduce inefficiencies and improve effectiveness
  6. The person should be adept in Drafting, Vetting, Review & negotiating various Agreements.
  7. Liasioning with Govt. Authorities including FSSAI, Legal Metrology etc.

  9. Direct licensing initiatives and business change from concept to implementation to achieve desired results
  10. Release of legal advisory, regulatory updates and legal articles
  11. Pro-active, practical, qualitative and cost-effective legal support and guidance to different business functions.
  12. Identification and due compliance with local laws and regulations and assist in auditing the compliances to laws and regulatory requirements
  13. Liaise with relevant authority/departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.

Growth Lead - Offline/ Partnerships
  1. Strategize, develop & execute via offline channels & partnerships
  2. Drive strategy and execution for Sales, coordinating across market, acquire partner, partners organizations and the product business units.
  3. Support the management system by regular reporting on business development activity and sales progression on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  4. Enable, engage, advice, mentor and manage sales teams on the Sales & business acquisition portfolio, product capabilities and strategy.

Job Summary:

The candidate should be good at writing, reviewing and publishing web content for in-house requirements as well as for third-party websites (outreach articles).

Proactively update and handle website landing pages and blogs. Monitoring & responding to user-generated content.

Content types include: short articles, feature-length (1000+ words) articles, product & service descriptions & informational content. The candidate should be able to effectively repurpose and repackage content to engage users across various channels. Should filter information into clear and concise text and have the ability to present content in the most engaging manner.

About the role:


As Healthkart embarks on next phase of growth, we are looking for Entrepreneurs In Residence (EIRs) to seed, prototype and incubate new digital brands. EIRs would be leading new digital brands and responsible for growing them from scratch into validated business model ie product-market-fit, go-to-market strategy and overall scaleup model. Broad responsibilities of the role include:


  • Build and lead the team required for the new brand development
  • Define the brand value proposition and translate that into consistent product and communication architecture   
  • Formulate and launch relevant products
  • Experiment and define go-to market strategy via online marketing supported with limited offline BTL/ATL marketing
  • Scale the brand to critical mass of customers

Manager - Contract Manufacturing

This position requires proven strategic sourcing skills, communication, collaborative, analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Contract Manufacturing network planning (long and short term)
  • Supporting growth and innovation through identification and implementation with Contract Manufacturing suppliers, including researching and evaluating potential Contract Manufacturing plants for new product launches or transitions
  • Support Make Or Buy analysis of new suppliers, launches and transitions
  • Manage cross-functional communications for specification changes
  • Provide Market intelligence including conducting market studies to identify new Contract Manufacturing sites and develop a robust supplier base
  • Supplier Evaluation & Overall Relationship management to ensure business needs are met including defining objectives and improving supplier performance
  • Budget and Productivity management including managing overall spend, analysing pricing breakouts for manufacturing, establishing and managing budgets and tracking variances.
  • Contract drafting, negotiation and execution, including scope, quality, time and cost of service and other contract terms and conditions working with legal teams
  • Business Unit support including supporting new product launches, line extensions, discontinuations, attending project meetings, working with Contract Manufacturing on sample requests, contributing to sales private label requests, sustainability and social audit requests and ad-hoc information requests
  • Develop RFP/RFQs to select suppliers, analyse and recommend scenarios to stake holders
  • Contract management, including serving as overall communication liaison between Contract Manufacturer and customer, leading final finished goods specification review with R&D, supporting product supply on inventory and material and communicating on specification updates and verification
  • Additional Operational duties including supporting production schedule and schedule adjustments, supporting logistics, warehousing and transportation, working with Quality Assurance on Contract Manufacturer validation and compliance to specifications, and other QA or Regulatory technical support



Bachelor's/Master degree in Chemical Engineering / Food tech or a related field of study

  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain
  • Experience in the food-processing industry. Preferably in an MNC for more than 3 yrs. Should have worked as production manager/supervisor for min 2 yrs.
  • Good knowledge of GMP, FSSAI, HACCP
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Worked with budgets and reporting on Metrics, Variances and Expenses.
  • Capable of working through uncertainty with minimal levels of manager direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, matrix environment
  • Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and Adobe Pro
  • Willingness to travel as role may involve over 12 days travel a month.
