Lateral Raise - Exercise Guide - Healthkart.com

Learn how to do a Lateral Raise

Muscle group worked: Side Delts
Equipment: Dumbbell
Difficulty: Beginner
Mechanics: Isolation

Directions:
1. Sit with a straight upper body and the dumbbell by your side at arm's length with the palms of the hand facing you. This would be your starting position.
2. Not swinging your upper body, lift the dumbbells to your side with a slight bend at the elbow and the hands slightly tilted forward, exhaling.
3. Lower the dumbbell back down slowly to the starting position as you inhale.
