Why did you decide to transform?
Being overweight was hampering my productivity, my self-confidence, and moreover from being extremely social I wanted to lock myself at home and go nowhere to avoid people and their opinions on me. I asked myself for how long? I began to cut the noise and started making changes in myself and took the first step then the second and then just kept going.
How did you accomplish your goals?
I will not say it was easy but it was totally worth it. Being focused, consistent, disciplined. Not that I didn’t have bad days but I pulled myself up, I failed a few times but I did not give up. I kept going.
Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?
I started with Pilates because I had to strengthen my back due to slip disc then slowly and gradually moved to HIIT / FUNCTIONAL training.
Which supplements did you take?
Multivitamins, Calcium, Fish oil & Biotin.
What challenges did you face during your transformation?
The biggest challenge has been my back, because of slip disc there were a lot of exercises I couldn’t do and I still cannot but giving up has never been an option so I kept going and always told myself – NO PAIN NO GAIN.
Suggestions for future transformers.
If you don’t like it, change it. you are not a tree. You have to keep going no matter what. Stop questioning your journey, stop thinking about when will you reach the goal and just work on it, take one day at a time, eat clean, workout, sweat it out, cut the noise (Don’t listen to anybody around you) Be positive, be patient, and be consistent.
Mention your weight, age, body fat % before and after your transformation.
I was 28 years old and my weight was 125 kgs with body fat 54% and now I am 30 years old with weight 69 kgs with body fat 27-29%. It’s still an ongoing process, I still have a lot more to achieve!
