Trekking is challenging without some pre-trip training or a basic level of fitness. Let’s be honest: it’s a lot of work. The price of a great journey is sweat, aching quads, sore calves as well as blisters and lost toenails in some cases. But in exchange, you get some of the world’s most unspoilt, beautiful, and jaw-dropping scenic views. And guess what? The more you prepare for your epic hike, the less difficult it will be.

  2. Jerky and running movements are dangerous on a trek and should be avoided.
  3. Do not cover your ears.
  4. Don’t take too many breaks while trekking, as your muscles and joints won’t stay warm for long this way. You might as well get separated from the group.
