Balancing demanding medical studies while battling knee problems wasn’t easy. But he chose resilience over excuses. Through discipline, smart training, and consistency, Dr. Yash Vardhan rebuilt his strength, emerging healthier and stronger, proving that determination can outgrow any limitation.
1) Why did you decide to transform?
I decided to transform because I had early osteoarthritic changes in my knees. Apart from the physical pain, not being able to play my favourite sport, basketball, forced me to finally start training to rebuild my body, especially my knees.
So, I decided to transform because I wanted to be pain-free.
2) How did you accomplish your goals?
I accomplished my goals by being consistent and avoiding shortcuts. For my knees, I underwent rehabilitation and then opted for strength training. I treated myself as a patient and an athlete at the same time. This changed the game for me and gave me real results.
3) Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?
I follow Upper body- Lower body splits, and at times Push Pull Legs. I believe the best split is not the most complicated one, but the one you can actually follow consistently.
4) Which supplements did you take?
I used whey protein, creatine, omega, and targeted micronutrient supplementation based on my blood markers.
5) What challenges did you face during your transformation?
The biggest challenges were my injuries and the anxiety that sometimes came with them.
Moreover, balancing medical education and later a doctor’s career with training was never easy. But I knew how to balance both well.
6) Suggestion for future transformers
Aim to be the best at everything you do. Being selfish with yourself to have better health and growth is the most selfless thing you can do.
