So what is what is Halloween day? Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated in October every year across several countries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Its origins can be traced back to ancient Celtic traditions, particularly the festival of Samhain. Halloween Day 2023 falls on the 31st of October, which is a Tuesday. 

Halloween is known for costume dressing, where people of all ages don costumes ranging from spooky creatures to superheroes. Trick-or-treating is a beloved tradition where children go door-to-door to collect candies, often saying “Trick or treat?” Jack-o’-lanterns, carved pumpkins with candles inside, are a popular decoration. 

The holiday has an eerie and fun atmosphere, with haunted houses, spooky decorations, and themed parties. It’s a time for watching horror movies, telling ghost stories, and indulging in treats. While it has historical and religious ties, modern Halloween is primarily a secular celebration filled with creativity, fun, and a touch of the supernatural.

The spooky festival will find you wherever you go, and your gym is not immune from scary things. However, some of these incidents bring humor along. At the end of it all, you will only be left laughing heartily over everything.

Nothing can be scarier than your training day not going as planned. Here are some of the incidents that will give you all the spooky scary Halloween feels: 

  1. You Forget Your Earphones at Home 

What if you gather all your motivation to hit the gym hard and pack the playlist with workout music and realize that you have forgotten your earphones at home. All of a sudden, your enthusiasm gets drained out. One of the scariest things, most people would want to avoid. Are you one of them? 

  1. Gyms are Closed

What if you have put on shoes, dressed up for workout and started walking toward the gym in style. Halfway to the gym, you realize that the gym is closed. Apart from having chills down your spine as you realize your workout routine got ruined, you become a joke that can’t be told to anybody.

  1. Not Getting the Desired Results 

You trained hard and sweated a lot but were unable to burn unwanted fats or you lifted heavy weights and ate all that you could but didn’t gain. Observing no change on the weighing machine can be a scary experience. You may think people would laugh at you but laughing with them can make it less scary.

  1. Ran Out of Protein Powder

What if you are in the middle of an intense exercise and you realize you are out of protein powder. For instance, you’ve already placed 100 kg weights on a barbel rod and are all set to lift the weight. With the first squat, you realized, you have left protein powder at home or are running out of protein powder. How does it feel? Scary, right? 

  1. Sweat 

No, we don’t doubt that sweating is inevitable during a workout. But what if, after a long wait, you get the chance to use the bench for the barbell bench press and you find it completely wet with sweat. Some people sweat like anything during training. It is a perfect swimming pool for germs. 

  1. Slipping on Treadmill 

One of the most common but scary incidents in the gym is slipping on the treadmill. Scratches on hands and knees can be mostly seen amongst newbies. But the scariest part is when your trousers are ripped and you have to go back home. 

  1. Unable to Lift Weight 

Sometimes, you feel like impressing someone. And one of the most effective ways is lifting heavy weights in the gym. But everything does not always go according to the plan and you drop weights. Maybe you are safe from outer injuries but it hurts inside somewhere for sure.
