  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2 ½ cups filtered water, divided
  • 350 ml natural Aloe Vera Juice
  • ¾ cup lemon juice
  • Small handful of fresh mint


  • In a large saucepan combine the sugar and about half a cup of water and stir over low flame until you get a simple syrup.
    Combine the simple syrup with aloe and lemon and mint, along with two cups of water and blend until smooth.
    Strain the mixture through a fine mesh to remove any debris from the aloe and mint
  • Put the mixture in an ice cream maker and set it to churn for about half an hour
  • Scoop out the slushie into four glasses, drizzle with leftover aloe juice and serve chilled. 

Aloe Vera Drink


  • 1/2 large aloe vera leaf 
  • Filtered water 
  •  2 limes, juiced 
  •  2 tablespoons agave syrup

  1. Use a sharp knife to carefully cut along the aloe leaf. Extract its pulp.
  2. Get rid of the waste and rinse the aloe extract to eliminate any bitter flavours
  3. Combine the aloe extract with lime juice, water, and agave syrup in the blender and blend until smooth. You can also use sugar or your preferred choice of sweetener. 
  4. You can also set aside some aloe vera and add it to your juice for an extra chunky texture to your blend. 
  5. Serve chilled with ice cubes and mint. 

Watermelon Aloe Juice


  • 4 cups fresh watermelon juice 
  • 2 cups cold, filtered water
  • 1 fresh, whole aloe leaf
  • Aloe gel cut into one-inch square pieces 


  1. Wash and dry the aloe vera leaf then cut it to remove the spiky layers and separate the extract. 
  2. Cut the gel into tiny one inch pieces and make sure not to get rid of any green skin that may be present in it.
  3. Combine the aloe vera juice, water melon juice, along with the cold water and blend until you have a smooth and consistent texture. You can also include a sweetener of your choice to give your drink some extra taste and flavour. 
  4. Serve chiled with some ice and a fresh sprig of mint. 

Aloe Vera Fruit Smoothie


  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup ice
  • 1 ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 aloe vera leaf

  1. Combine all your ingredients in a large blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. 
  2. Add sweetener of your choice to give it some extra flavour

Serve your aloe vera juice chilled with some fresh fruit or desiccated coconut
