From Overweight to Resilient: Mehak’s Transformation

Mehak went from struggling with excess weight and pre-diabetes to achieving significant fat loss and feeling stronger, healthier, and more in control- proving that consistency truly transforms both body and mindset.

1) Why did you decide to transform?

During my college time, I noticed that I couldn’t even walk long distances without struggling, and that made me feel extremely invisible. Being overweight became my entire personality. That’s when I decided to take control of my own body.

2) How did you accomplish your goals?

Since I was pre-diabetic at the time, I began my transformation under medical supervision.

After that, I started following a calorie-deficient diet rich in protein and began training.

Over time, I incorporated strength training and increased my daily movement with activities like swimming, which helped me not just lose weight but also improve my overall fitness.

3) Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?

I started with walking in the beginning. Then, as my stamina increased, I moved to cardio activities like dancing and swimming. Then once my body could handle it, I joined a gym and moved to strength training.

4) Which supplements did you take?

Protein, fish oil and creatine.

5) What challenges did you face during your transformation?

My main challenges were managing cravings, emotional eating and staying consistent. Moreover, I also had to deal with excess loose skin as I had lost significant weight.

6) Suggestions for future transformers

Be patient with the process. Focus on sustainability not perfection. Make fitness your habit, that you can stick to. Fat loss doesn’t just require physical, but mental change too.
