1. Why did you decide to transform?

Bodybuilding was and always will be my passion. I wanted to be toned and in my best shape to become an IFBB pro one day.

2. How did you accomplish your goal?

I accomplished my goal through a strict discipline – eating 6 meals a day and never missing out on it. Even at parties, I made sure I only follow my diet plan. I also ensured that I get a proper sleep and do proper workout without fail.

3. Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?

My training routine has been push, pull, and leg – on loop. This has helped me alot in my transformation.

4. Which supplements did you take?

The supplements that I take include pre workout, protein, BCAAs, fish oil,and multivitamins.

5. What challenges did you face during your transformation?

I’m a trainer and I am building my body as well. I have a hard time balancing both of these things as well as my personal life together. I experience lack of sleep sometimes which makes me suffer from physical and mental fatigue. I also have to workout with my muscles some days.

6. Suggestions for future transformers

I would like to tell the future transformers to eat clean, workout hard, take 8 hours of necessary sleep, and repeat. Also, make sure your mind is at peace.

There are a lot of expenses involved when it comes to maintaining a good physique – this posed a challenge for me. Moreover, following a strict diet was also quite taxing.

Set achievable goals and then break them down into smaller goals. Make sure you also plan your cheat days.

Why did you decide to transform?

I decided to transform myself because I used to be fat and wanted to look fit as I realised that fitness is of utmost importance.

How did you accomplish your goals?

So, I accomplished my goal by doing a lot of hard work and it was not easy for me to transform myself. But I made sure I go to the gym regularly and made my own fat loss diet plan by watching some YouTube videos.

Training routine that helped you achieve your goals

I followed a very basic training routine in which I trained one body part at a time and did cardio after that. But I believe that weight training has played a great role in helping me lose fat faster.

Which supplements did you take?

I didn’t take any kind of supplement to achieve my fitness goal.

What challenges did you face during your transformation?

The biggest challenge I faced during my transformation was finance because as a college student, it has been quite difficult for me to arrange money for my diet.

Suggestion for future transformers

My suggestion for the future transformers is that it is very important for you to not give up. If you stick to your goal, you will get great results and fitness is something that will stay with you for life. So, don’t leave it midway.

Never Stopping Takes You Places – Piyush Bajaj’s Story

Why did you decide to transform?

I was tired of being the skinniest guy in the room and had lost all the confidence in myself. I was the constant subject for bullies and it was the lowest point of my life! I knew there was a need for change but I just couldn’t gather the motivation to do it until my father got me a membership at a local gym and nothing has been the same ever since!

How did you accomplish your goals?

It was not until 2017 when I started hitting the gym. I was lucky enough to find a great personal trainer who took good interest in helping me reach my goals. Being the skinniest guy in the gym, it was pretty difficult to settle in but the final image I had of me never allowed me to give up on my goals. So, I started working out 6 times a week and stopped my intake of junk food and before I knew it, people started to notice the hard work I was putting in everyday!

Training routine that helped you achieve your goals

For the first six months, I was enrolled into training just a single part a day. I wasn’t in need of much cardio as my fat percentage was already pretty low. After the first six months, I started with 2 Body parts a day. I usually used to match chest with triceps and back with biceps followed by shoulder & legs the next day. This schedule allowed me to rest 2 times a day and hit each of my body parts 2 times a week except biceps & triceps.

Which supplements did you take?

I was training without supplements for the first six months and after that I got myself a stack of Protein, Creatine, Fish oil, multivitamins, and Ayurvedic products like ashwagandha!

What challenges did you face during your transformation?

The challenges I faced were mostly the battles I had with myself. There were times I felt that nothing can change me and I am destined to be a skinny dude and times where I felt so discouraged regarding my results but then I used to tell myself “what’s there to lose, anyway?” and kept going. This consistency and hard work changed my life.

Suggestion for future transformers

Consistency – you have to be consistent; it’s not something you are gonna attain in a month or even 6 months. There are times when you won’t feel like going to the gym, times when your gains won’t change for a significant time. But don’t give up. This consistency will make you the beast you desire to be! Also, having a gym trainer is great but there are some things you’ll have to learn yourself. You have to be a learner always! Learn, implement, and beast up!

Toil Till You Make It – Chandravir’s Journey

Why did you decide to transform?

I had gained a lot of weight and experienced body shaming. I had a feeling of low self-esteem; it kicked me hard to shed weight and get a toned physique.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I adhered to a strict time table for workout and diet with the help of my BMI report.

Training routine that helped you achieve your goals

I joined the gym and started working out for 1-2 hours on a daily basis. After 4 weeks, I started working out twice a day for 2 hours. After each session, I realised a positive impact which helped me step further with grit and I started working out for 3-4 hours twice a day.

Which supplements did you take?

Whey Protein, BCAAs, Glutamine, Multivitamin, and Fat Burner.

What challenges did you face during your transformation?

Time crunch, self- doubt, low confidence, body pain, and a few injuries.

Suggestion for future transformers

Body transition is never easy; it takes a lot of hard work and diligence. Stay focused and be tenacious with your workout and diet. Toil till you get the desired results. Be conversant with your body trends.

An End To Body Shaming – Vikram Mohanty’s Journey

Why did you decide to transform?

I decided to transform because people used to call me skinny and they used to make fun of me.

How did you accomplish your goals?

In the beginning, I started going to gym for half an hour and used to do cardio as the trainer asked me to do – during which I gained knowledge about callisthenics too. I started getting interested in callisthenics and so, for 6 months, I used to do only bodyweight workouts but I realised I have to take a proper diet as well. So, I used to eat everything in the beginning to bulk up but soon I saw my body undergoing changes and after a year, I had developed a good physique and was not skinny anymore. I didn’t just stop there – I became a certified trainer.

Training routine that helped you achieve your goals

I had a normal training routine. I used to train push, pull, and legs in the beginning and then changed it to bro split with some 15 – 20 minutes cardio. Most importantly, I always ate healthy and kept a close check on my diet.

Which supplements did you take?

I have used Whey Protein, MuscleBlaze Creatine, and Multivitamins.

What challenges did you face during your transformation?

When I started my fitness journey, I was in college and it was hard for me to focus on my diet, manage my time for workout, and be regular at the gym. I was not earning so it was hard for me to buy supplements too. I would get criticised by parents & relatives. But I never listened to anyone and continued with my fitness journey.

Suggestion for future transformers

If a skinny guy like me can go this far, then others can also do this. I have been through the same problems which they might be facing so that shouldn’t be an excuse. If you can think you can do it, then YOU CAN.
